Finally!

After more than a month of waiting, I finally got my order from DealExtreme! I think it was with the post office for about three weeks before I asked yaya G to get it for me. I was suppose to get it week after I got the notice but the Custom official was absent that day. Then Helen came and another week passed before I asked yaya G to try getting it for me again. Thank goodness I only paid PHP35.00 for the postal notice.

Anyway, I am still figuring the thing out. I tried downloading a file for testing but it didn't work. I think I still need to download something from NDSTT's site before I can finally make it work. Will actually test it in a bit, still downloading the menu file from their site. Will update you as soon as I am able to make it work. :D

Last night was my first time to join my officemates on a gimik. I was not able to join them during the "company" outing and when Lea and Davy had their birthday celebration in Libis. Last night, 4 of the July birthday celebrants treated us in Elbow Room at Metrowalk. We have our own room which has its own Videoke system and billiard set. I had two games of billiards which I both lost :D I don't really know how to play but I'd rather play billiards than sing :D

After the 2 sets, I sat with the girls and sing (without the mic). OMG, laugh trip! C was so game in singing,, ang kulit! I choose some of the songs for her like itsy bitsy teeny weeny and spageti (by sex bomb) which she didn't actually sing, she danced! kalog pare! The best performance she had was when she sang Luha by Aegis. She sang this with feelings! As in may action ulit! If I could only share her video, teehee. No, I wouldn't dare! What happened last night was for our eyes and entertainment only :D

I stayed in the party until around 9PM. Hamey picked me up since we are going to watch the LFS of Dark Knight in Podium. ASTIG! I like the movie! I was just wondering why parents would allow their kids to see such movie. I think it was too dark for kids to understand and or appreciate. I don't know, I'm just not in to those things. I mean, not being conservative here, but I wouldn't want to expose my kids early to something dark like this. Gradual lang dapat. A basta, yun na yun! Labo Pare!

I started having small business opportunitites when I was already working. The first time I became an entrepreneur was when I joined Dakki to sell vacuumed pillows and the likes. I earned from it but since it was just a sideline, I was not into it 100%. After a year, I stopped selling.

Then I had a one Christmas thingy where in I sold chocolate lollipops. It was also a hit but I never got to do it again the following year since my supplier was no longer holding shop in Alabang and I forgot to get their contact details for reference.

The following year, I planned to sell cupcakes for Christmas. My mom loved it so much, she decided to just give it to her officemates. *LOL* Which I also did. :D

I love baking and making goodies which suits kids. I had the chance to do Vera’s own birthday cake and hopefully it’s a start, at least for our family. :)

I never really tried those bodybuilding supplements and I don’t know if what hamey had before can be classified as that. He had a chocolate protein which he brings and drinks when he hits the gym. I never tried tasting it, it looks as if it is not in any way delicious. Why bother right? Is he still into it? No. Why? Well, he’s no longer going to the gym, it’s a case of tamaditis (laziness) *LOL*

Day 5: Here comes sunshine

Day 5: June6, Friday

What a wonderful day! Our agenda today is to go to Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife Center then have dinner at Wagamama with our friends from Sydney.

We left the hotel after lunch since Vera took her morning nap. We are not really in a hurry since we are just going to the aquarium and wildlife center and it is open until 10PM and we're meeting our friends at 7:30 in the evening, after our mini tour. :D

Anyway, we rode the city train going to Circular Quay. From there, we took the ferry going to Darling Harbour. We initially stayed at the back of the ferry for kodak moments :D after a while Vera and I went in since she felt cold outside. Hamey remained outside, nagsa-sightseeing :)

Drop off point in Darling Harbour was exactly in front of the Sydney Wildlife Center. We decided to go to the aquarium first and see the wildlife after. Wrong move! The center closed at 6PM. We were only able to go around for an hour, sayang ang binayad namin! We saw a koala up close but never got to see kangaroos since it was already dark in the place. Hay, sayang talaga!

Anyway, I've been to three aquariums, one in Sentosa (2002), in Sea World (2007) and just recently in Sydney (2008). Among the three, Sydney Aquarium was the best. Next to it was the aquarium in Sentosa. I forgot what the aquarium looks like at Sea World perhaps it was not at par with the two. It was not really its main attraction.

Going back to Sydney, we're 1.5 hour early for our dinner and it's getting cold outside. We decided to look for Wagamama and reserved seats for us. I started feeding Vera since she hasn't really eaten a full meal since we arrived. Side note: bakit ba ang mga bata ang aarte when their parents are around? No, it's not just me or Vera, even other moms I've talked to, same experience. I'd like to think it's their way of making lambing since we are away most of the time working. *sigh*

Where was I? The dinner. Our friends came and we had dinner and fun times telling stories. I think G and C had fun talking to Vera that night, hehe. Even M I think. After dinner we went for a walk and had a chocolate drink at Lindtt. Ay heaven, ang sarap nga ng chocolate nila! Even Vera had a taste and she liked it. We stayed there until about 10PM I think. We were suppose to ride the ferry again since hamey would like to see and take some pictures of the Harbour Bridge at night. But it's getting cold and Vera was already sleeping in her umbroller, wawa naman baby namin. We got lost going to the train station but were able to find our way after asking someone. I'm not bad at directions and instructions, just give me a map and I am good to go. But traveling with an infant is a different story, ang lamig lamig pa!

We had fun that night even if we got so tired from walking. It's really nice seeing familiar faces from an unfamiliar place. naks, poetic!

coming soon... last 2 days in Sydney

It's 11:14 in the evening and I am still wide awake. Some thing's keeping me awake. I can't fully share it now, baka maudlot but please please please include me in you prayers that I'll get a positive feedback on this. Hay, nakaka tense! I've never felt so stressed like this before. Stressed from work projects, from traveling a.k.a traffic, from home is never like this. Ito yung stress na mapapa CR ka talaga! *LOL* sh!t!

I'm sorry for the choice of word, I know I promised to myself that everything that's going to be posted here are all positive and for general patronage *LOL* Tense lang talaga ang lola nyo :D And expect this until next month! OMG! The agony of waiting!

And then I forgot all about our Sydney trip, *toink!* Sige, here comes days 5 - 7

My sister got my aunts old PDA last year. I am just not sure if it is permanently hers or my aunt just asked for some assistance with it. What I am sure of is that they installed a medical reference software for them to use. They are both in the medical field and it is going to be useful to them. I bet if it is with my sister, it is not the only software she installed there. She probably has some games and perhaps other important information installed. I just hope that she inputs our birthdates there *teehee*

Do you want to know a secret? Well, I have mentioned to you before that I have an upcoming Shoe blog. Yes, it's already up but has only 4 posts to date. So what's the secret? Well, I made another blog... I've been keeping tags/meme requests and i can keep up to it all. I'm starting a new blog "SOLELY" for it. Hopefully you'll still stay with me here. I'll keep you posted with regards to the meme site. I need to find a solution to keep up with you guys.

Hay naku! Can't stop online window shopping. Good thing Old navy does not accept PayPal payments. This was one of my favorite shop in the US for their cheap stuff. Other shops in my fave list are Aeropostale and Steve and Barry (which I heard is going bankrupt, sayang naman!)

Anyway, these are some new arrivals from Old Navy. Come to think of it, this must go to my shoe blog. Hay, if only I have time to update it. I have tons of shoes in my list! Pretty soon... Abangan!
